Types settlements
I took this photo while visiting Sanga Choeling Monastery with some friends to take in the scenery. This graphic depicts two distinct types of human settlement. One type of settlement is the nucleated settlement, in which homes are generally clustered around a central location. Another type is dispersive settlement, in which houses are built with some gap between them. If children are puzzled about the nucleated and dispersive settlements, we can show them this image to help them understand about the two types of settlement.
